How It Works
Our Advanced Studio Photography Class is designed for photographers looking to deepen their understanding of studio lighting, working with models, and creating professional-quality portraits in a studio setting. This one-day intensive workshop is hands-on and personalized, with a limit of 4 participants per session to ensure each photographer receives individual attention and guidance.
Prerequisites:
To ensure the success of all participants, the class has the following prerequisites:
- Photography Triangle Knowledge: A solid understanding of the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, ISO) is essential. This class assumes you can manipulate these settings to achieve your desired exposure.
- Camera Functions: Familiarity with the most common functions of your camera. You should know how to adjust settings such as white balance, focus modes, and metering modes.
- Manual Mode: Comfortability with shooting in manual mode on your camera. Participants should be able to select appropriate settings for a given lighting situation without assistance.
How to Register:
- Pre-Registration Assessment: Due to the advanced nature of this class, we ask that potential participants complete a short questionnaire about their photography experience and skills. This helps ensure the class is a good fit for your current level.
- Confirmation: Once your questionnaire is reviewed and if you meet the class prerequisites, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to register and make payment.
- Payment: The class fee must be paid in full to secure your spot. Detailed information regarding the class fee, payment methods, and any applicable cancellation policy will be included in the confirmation email.
- Pre-Class Materials: Upon registration, you'll receive a list of materials to bring to the class (including specific camera equipment) and any recommended reading or preparatory work to ensure you're fully prepared for the workshop.
