Old Time Rock and Roll Echoes at Thunder Valley with CCSegaR
Let’s have a short chat about “Cover Bands” and “Tribute Bands.” In short “Cover Bands” perform the music of the artist they represent, offering fans a chance to hear beloved songs live. Tribute bands take that to the next step and take us on a journey for a few moments, which are never enough, in which one is truly at a concert of the band they are honoring. Tribute bands, however, go much beyond merely playing the music. They deliver you an experience that is so believable that you feel as if you are witnessing the original band in their prime. Last night, CCsegeR at Thunder Valley Casino blew the roof off the place and made the “Night Move.” CCsegeR took the audience on a journey and every single person felt as if they were in the presence of rock legends. Each artist individually has earned legend status on their own accomplishments and work.
Last Night seasoned artists Paul Holdgate and Randy Scoles took the stage backed with a world class talent of artists to travel back to that time of “Old Time Rock and Roll.” Both are talented singers who have fronted legendary bands like Montrose and have performed with a who's who of major artists. On a personal note, for all the talent and success, they are amazing people who will tell you other than being on stage, they enjoy meeting and talking to their fans. Many of these fans follow this band from show to show and have developed a musical family. When CCsegeR performs, you're not just attending a concert; you're witnessing history, passion, and raw musical excellence come alive. These two artists are so convincing in their performances that fans excitedly call them by the names of the icons they emulate—Bob Seger and John Fogerty.
Last night these two artists gave a performance in front of a packed house! As I moved through the venue, capturing the night's amazing moments, I witnessed as countless fans are shaking their heads in disbelief at the wholly believable performances of these two artists. Their incredible talent left many needing to sit and catch their breath after each song, having been swept away by the music, singing, and dancing along with every moment.
Two frontmen of this caliber could only be supported by talent of equal quality. Larry Hart, known as "The Electrocutioner," brings his legendary bass skills, while Harvey Baser shreds on guitar. John Dengate's mastery on keyboards and Jeff Campitelli's dynamic drumming complete the lineup, each with a career as storied as the frontmen. Their collective prowess ensures a show that is nothing short of extraordinary.
Now imagine this exceptional band performing at a venue worthy of their talent: Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln. Tonight was truly exceptional, setting a new pinnacle in their illustrious careers. Tonight, these artists did just that. The band raised the bar driven by the raw excitement and energy of the audience. This trip back to the good ole days of rock and roll could arguably be described as one of the best performances of their careers. It was a night of sheer musical brilliance, filled with electrifying energy and flawless execution. Fans were left in awe, knowing they had witnessed something extraordinary. This performance will be talked about for many nights to come, a testament to the band’s ability to continuously surpass expectations and create unforgettable memories for their audience.
